Arts Pop: Opera Theatre of Saint Louis’ 2015 Season

WEBSTER GROVES, MO (KTVI)-Opera Theatre of St. Louis’ 2015 Festival Season opens on May 23, 2015. This season will feature Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, Puccini’s opera La Rondine, the American premiere of Handel’s Richard the Lionheart, and Emmeline by Tobias Picker, its first full-scale staging since its 1996 world premiere.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary season, Opera Theatre will host Center Stage, a showcase concert on June 23, 2015 to highlight the extraordinary talents of Opera Theatre’s Gerdine Young Artists and Richard Gaddes Festival Artists as they perform a range of beloved arias, with onstage accompaniment by members of the St. Louis Symphony.

Season subscriptions start at $79, and single tickets begin at $25. Performance are at the Loretto-Hilton Center at Webster University.
