Three wounded in west St. Louis shooting

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-A shooting in St. Louis at Kingshighway and Delmar has sent three men in their 20's to the hospital with gunshot wounds. It happened just after 4:00am Saturday.  According to St. Louis police, the three victims were in a car heading west on Delmar when a white sedan, maybe a Pontiac Grand Prix, pulled up behind them and someone inside opened fire.

The driver of the victims' car realized he had been shot and turned around to drive to a hospital, but the suspect's car followed and continued firing shots.  The victims' car came to a stop at Delmar and Kingshighway.

The three victims were taken to the hospital. They are listed in serious but stable condition.Two had been shot in the leg, one in the lower back.

The busy intersection at Kingshighway and Delmar was shut down for about an hour and a half while the scene was investigated.

There is no description of the suspect or suspects and no word on a motive.
