ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Soccer fans packed Ballpark Village to show their support for a Major League Soccer team in St. Louis. Tuesday the commissioner of Major League Soccer Don Garber was in the Gateway City to judge support for MLS expansion team.
Top local officials met with Garber, Gov. Jay Nixon, St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay, and Dave Peacock who is leading the effort to build a Riverfront Stadium.
That is included in the pitch for MLS expansion team that would presumably play at the new NFL stadium.
