ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - One day in the distant future people may be able to land at Lambert Field on Mars.

NASA's Martian rover has been exploring a Martian crater  named the Spirit of St. Louis after Charles Lindbergh's famous plane. Because two of the research team members found one of the landmarks on that crater they are able to name other sites there. They all have a St. Louis theme. Among the new places on the red planet, Lindbergh Mound and Lambert Field.
