Vietnam veteran laid to rest 46 years later at Jefferson Barracks

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- There's a long over-due military funeral today at Jefferson Barracks for an Air Force Tech Sergeant who was killed during The Vietnam War, 46 years ago. On February 5, 1969 an Airforce EC-47 aircraft was downed by enemy fire over Laos. Air Force Tech Sergeant Louis Clever and nine others were killed. Only two bodies were recovered and buried at Jefferson Barracks decades ago.

The remains of Louis Clever's and the others were left behind in a remote jungle until recently.
