B.B. King laid to rest
INDIANOLA, MS – A final farewell to a legend. Funeral services for blues singer B.B. King are taking place in his hometown of Indianola, Mississippi today (Saturday).
A gathering at his family’s church will be followed by a private service at the B.B. King museum later this evening.
The museum will be King’s final resting place.
Friday, thousands of people lined up to pay their respects to the musician whose career spanned over 60 years.
King’s casket was decorated in flowers and guitars.
Mississippi Highway Patrol Officers stood guard over the public memorial.
