Shrewsbury’s fire chief passes

SHREWSBURY, MO (KTVI) – Saturday night the Shrewsbury Fire Department announced the death of its fire chief William P. Fox. Chief Fox had been in fire service in St. Louis County for 41 years, starting his career at the Berkeley Fire Department in 1973 and was chief of the Shrewsbury Fire Department since 1989.

Visitation has been scheduled from 3 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015 at Manchester United Methodist Church, located at 129 Woods Mill Road in Manchester Missouri. A firefighter’s walk-through will occur at 7:30 pm.

Visitation will also be held from 9 am to 11 am Wednesday, June 3rd.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Manchester United Methodist Church, 129 Woods Mill Road, Manchester Mo. 63011.
