ST. LOUIS (AP) – A St. Louis man is jailed on $250,000 cash-only bond on charges that he fired into a van near a park, wounding a 3-year-old boy.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports 27-year-old Keith Terrell Kent Jr. is charged with six counts each of first-degree assault and armed criminal action, as well as one count of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Police and court records say that the boy-among six people in the van-was the only person wounded during the gunfire May 1.

Police have said the shooting followed a dispute between two women in O’Fallon Park, and one of the women got into the van to drive away before the shots rang out.

Online court records don’t show whether Kent has an attorney.
