Fawn rescued from storm sewer by Wentzville Fire Protection District crews

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Emergency personnel with the Wentzville Fire Protection District rescued a fawn out of a storm sewer after neighbors called about hearing cries coming from the drain early Wednesday morning.

The fire protection district serves  Wentzville, O’Fallon, Lake St. Louis, Dardenne Prairie, Flint Hill, Josephville and St. Charles County.  They posted these images to their Facebook page.

Lindsae White posted a message to thank Firefighters:

I just wanted to thank the wonderful guys who came out and rescued this baby fawn out of the sewer in my back yard!!!
