PACIFIC, MO (KTVI) - Two men were found stabbed to death at around 8:20 p.m. Monday night in a Pacific apartment complex.
The Major Case Squad identified Aaron R. Hodges, 22, as the suspect in custody for the murders. Police said Hodges knew the victims and has admitted to stabbing them.
Police identified the victims as 26-year-old Cory Dreiling and an as yet unnamed 35-year-old man. Dreiling's mother discovered both victims in a second-floor unit at the Westmoor Place condos on N. Monroe.
The two victims were roommates. Hodges lived in the complex. Police suspect the victims may have been dead for nearly a day when they were found.
Investigators worked overnight on the case. At one point, they brought police dogs to the apartment in the search for a suspect.
Police were later seen escorting a man, later identified as Hodges, wearing an orange prison jumpsuit and handcuffs, away from the apartments.
Hodges was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action. He remains in custody at the Pacific Police Department.
