Man shot, killed in north city

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Police are searching for the gunman in a deadly shooting in north St. Louis. One man was shot and killed overnight around 2:30a.m. Tuesday on Salisbury Street. The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Deon Eddington, of the 6000 block of Lucille. Eddington was found at a stop light, behind the wheel of a car. He sustained gunshot wounds to his chest, back, thigh and stomach. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The second victim, a 27-year-old man, was located in the 2100 block of Angelica. He is believed to be the passenger of the vehicle. Officers say he suffered from a graze wound to the head. He was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

Authorities say the man is not cooperating with the investigation.
