Downpour affecting Ameren customers in Cahokia, East St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Here’s a warning for metro east residents already dealing with power outages. Be ready for a day without electricity. The early morning downpour is affecting Ameren Illinois crews who have been working overnight to restore power.

Right now Ameren Illinois says most of the power should be restored in the Cahokia and East St. Louis area by 6p.m. Friday.

All of the power should be restored by midnight.
