Violent night in north St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – There were three shootings overnight in north St. Louis.

St. Louis police are investigating the robbery of a 36-year-old man who was in the 5000 block of Robin in north St. Louis a little after 1:00 a.m. on Saturday. The first suspect went to the driver’s side window and demanded money from the driver at gunpoint.

After the man handed over the money, the second suspect started firing shots at car. The victim was struck three times and transported to the hospital where he was listed in critical/stable condition.

Another shooting occured just before 8:30 p.m. Friday  when a 52-year-old man was shot once in the leg after being accused of looking at the suspect’s girlfriend. The victim fled and the suspect followed him in the victim’s car and offered to give the victim a ride to the hospital. The victim refused and the suspect fled on foot. The victim was later taken to the hospital and listed in stable condition.

Police are also looking into the shooting of a 39-year-old man in the 4100 block of Peck around 10:30 p.m. Friday. The man was driving down an alley when his car was struck by gunfire. The man was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound to the back and listed in stable condition.
