ST. LOUIS (KTVI) – Fans at Busch Stadium were preparing for the possibility of more rain during Wednesday night’s Cardinals game.

On Sunday the game against the Cubs was delayed because of severe weather.

The wind, rain and lightning pushed thousands of fans to leave Sunday. However many stayed until the game resumed.

Fans were hoping Wednesday’s game was different, but many told FOX 2 that they were “prepared.”

Dozens were seen carrying umbrellas and rain coats as they gathered at Busch Stadium.
