ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Last November, Great Rivers Greenway commissioned a $332,000 six month study for the same 180-acre North Riverfront area as the new NFL stadium project, proposed two months later.

This study examined the proposal of creating a new riverfront experience; including kayaking, rock climbing, loft apartments, floating beer gardens and bike shops.

Susan Trautman of Great Rivers Greenway joins Fox 2 to explain how this land could be used to include both of these projects.

On July 8, Great Rivers Greenway and the City of St. Louis will host an open house for the North Riverfront open space and redevelopment plan at the Central Library between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
