Nursing home attendant charged with attempted rape of coworker

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A worker has been charged for the attempted rape of a coworker at a nursing home. Molokai McClenton, 35, faces one count of attempted rape, two counts of attempted sodomy and one count of sexual abuse.

Police say McClenton held a female coworker against her will in a room on June 5th at the Green Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Investigators say he tried to overpower the victim and then attempted to rape her.

There is no reason to believe that patients at the nursing home were assaulted.
