Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…WEDNESDAY…July 15, 2015:

***A little break in the hard core summer heat…but only for one day…temperatures in the upper 80’s this afternoon…enough to notice…all starts to come back Thursday and locks in place for Friday and the weekend….Also today is the anniversary of the hottest day ever in STL 115 degrees in 1954.***

WEDNESDAY:

Lots of sunshine…slightly cooler
WINDS: Northeast 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 88 degrees

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

Partly cloudy…mild
WINDS: East 10-15 M.P.H.
LOW: 71 DEGREES.

THURSDAY:

Partly sunny…maybe a spot storm…warmer and more humid
WINDS: South 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 92 DEGREES

THE WEATHER DISCO:

A little break with the northwest flow in play on this Wednesday…pressing back the large dome of summer high pressure…a pretty nice day today…but its only one day…Thursday…a warm front will lift up and over us…maybe a spot storm…the summer high takes over…with increasing temperatures and humidity…then back in full force for Friday and the weekend…and lasting into next week. I do not think this is a long last heat wave…as we battle back and forth between this extension of the Bermuda high and the northwest flow…with a solid break arriving around the 24th of July. Also…expecting an up-tick in the Atlantic hurricane season over the next 3 weeks…look for home grown development…meaning in close along the coastline.
