TOWN AND COUNTRY, MO (KTVI) – The Town and Country Board of Aldermen voted against a planned development to bring a Tim Hortons drive-thru to a street corner in the affluent community, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.

On Monday night, the aldermen voted 5-2 against the plan to build the drive-thru restaurant and a Reliance Bank branch at the northeast corner of Clayton and Ballas roads.

Approximately 100 Town and Country residents attended Monday night’s meeting, according to the Post-Dispatch. Residents were against the development, citing increased traffic, noise, lights, and children in the neighborhood.
