$10k reward for information in murder of alderman’s nephew

ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - Days after an alderman's nephew was gunned down, the family is doubling the reward to find his killer.

There is now a $10,000 reward for any information leading to a felony arrest in the murder of 23-year-old Rashad Farmer. The shooting occurred Monday, July 13 around 7 p.m. in the 5800 block of Lotus Avenue.

Farmer is the nephew of Alderman Jeffery Boyd. Farmer and another victim were standing outside a home when Farmer was struck by gunfire. He fell in the street and died. The second victim was shot in the foot but survived.
