ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - This Friday, July 31,  Selkirks will host its first auction under new ownership in the Central West End.

The Selkirks name was purchased by Jeff and Amelia Jeffers, who also operate Garth's Auctions in Delaware, Ohio. The old Ivey Selkirks was forced to close last year after too many bounced checks and unpaid consignees. The then owner Malcom Ivey had many disgruntled employees who jumped ship and started the new and successful Link Auction Gallery, also in the Central West End.

Jeff Jeffers the new owner of Selkirks joins FOX 2 with his view of the future of his upscale auction gallery.
