ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A student driving cross-country to college last weekend stopped in St. Louis to see the Arch, and everything she had was stolen.

Ciara and her mom, Deia Sobas, left South Carolina and were headed to Utah where Ciara goes to college. They parked in a garage near the Arch, her car packed with books, her computer, clothes, and everything else she needed for school in Utah. After only an hour at the Arch, they returned to find the entire car stolen.

Deia says she wanted her daughter to see St. Louis just like she did on cross-country trips with her family as a child. Now, their memories of the city are not good ones. So far, there is no sign of the stolen car or the college student's belongings.
