ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Her murder shook St. Louis. On Saturday morning, a nine-year-old Ferguson girl shot and killed while doing homework on her mother's bed will be laid to rest.

It has been eleven days since the shooting death of Jamyla Bolden and there are still plenty of questions about this case. Bolden was doing homework in her mother's bed in that Ferguson home August 18, 2015, when it happened. Shots rang out and she was shot and killed. Her mom was also injured.

The shooting sparked outrage across the community and a manhunt that eventually led to the arrest of 21-year-old De'Eris Brown on second degree murder charges earlier this week.  An informant led police to Brown, who they say admitted to the man that he had fired the shots.  But no motive for the shooting has been given so the big question still hanging over this case is why?

Visitation began at 9am Saturday at  Friendly Temple Missionary Baptist church on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and the funeral followed at 11:00am.
