Police ID 16-year-old shot, killed at north county home

ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KTVI) – Investigators with the St. Louis County Police Department have identified the 16-year-old shot and killed at the hands of an 11-year-old Thursday afternoon during a suspected home invasion.

According to Sgt. Brian Schellman, the deceased teen was identified as Lamonte Streeter.

The shooting happened around 2:20 p.m. in the 10700 block of Hallwood.

Physical evidence recovered at the scene indicates Streeter was shot while inside the home.

Stevieon Jackson, 22, was with Streeter during the incident and was arrested on suspicion of burglary.

The children’s mother was not home at the time of the shooting. Police said she is cooperating with the investigation.
