“Force Friday” prepares Star Wars fans for holiday season

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Too early to start clamoring for those "must have" toys for the holiday?

It is "Force Friday" and Star Wars fans have been lined up since midnight at toy stores all over the country, including here in St. Louis, to get their hands on the new toys for "Star Wars Episode 7 the Force Awakens.”

This will be the first Star Wars film in 10-years. The film will be released on December 18th.

Family Lifestyle columnist, Meredith Sinclair, talks about the phenomenon of β€œThe Force.” Sinclair reveals that Star Wars has developed into much more than just a film. The series has become generational, and Star Wars toys have become a way for fans to relive their experiences with the film.
