ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- On Friday, the St. Louis Cardinals and CBS Radio’s KMOX-AM announced a multi-year extension to their current radio rights agreement.  KMOX will continue as the flagship station for the Cardinals, broadcasting all regular-season and post-season games, as well as select spring training games.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Cardinals will continue to produce the game broadcasts with veteran announcers Mike Shannon, John Rooney and Mike Claiborne doing play-by-play coverage. The team will also continue selling the advertising during the broadcast.  In addition to game broadcasts, KMOX will carry a variety of other Cardinals-related programming throughout the year.
