ST. LOUIS (AP) _ A second man has been charged in the fatal shooting of a man over drugs and missing money.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports 25-year-old Corey L. Palmer was charged with first-degree murder Saturday in the death of 27-year-old Joshua Buie. He also was charged with two counts of armed criminal action.

According to police, Buie was fatally shot and a 40-year-old woman was shot in the leg. Authorities say Palmer and 22-year-old Trevion Holmes were looking for stolen drug money. Holmes was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action for his role in the killing.

A judge ordered a $1,000,000 cash-only bond. It was not immediately clear if Palmer has an attorney.

On August 30th, officers responded to a shooting in the 3300 block of Texas. Upon arrival, they saw a white Dodge Charger flee the area. Officers began to follow the vehicle, but lost sight of it. The Dodge Charger and three victims located at an area hospital.

Officers responded to the hospital. The first victim sustained gunshot wounds to his chest, back, flank, buttocks and foot and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Another victim was not shot but was being treated for an asthma attack. That person has unrelated outstanding warrants and was booked.

The last victim was located at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds to her thighs and was conveyed to a hospital where she was treated and released.

Authorities say the suspects were involved in drug activity and were angry about missing money. They believed the woman who was shot multiple times had knowledge of the theft and made threats against her. The shooting happened when the other victims confronted the suspects.

Holmes was taken into custody. A firearm was recovered from his possession.
