Update: Billy Powell has been found and is safe with family members.
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Police are looking for a 73-year-old man who went missing on Friday. A Family member says that Billy Powell was last seen near Lumiere Casino.
Powell was in the passenger seat of a car that a family member drove to the Casino at around 10:30pm. The driver parked at Martin Luther King and N. 2nd and went into Lumiere to look for the man’s wife. Powell was not in the car when he returned 45 minutes later.
Family members say that Powell suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. He is described as a 73-year-old black male, 6’2″, 205 lbs., medium build, gray braided hair, mustache and sideburns. He was last seen wearing glasses, a gray polo shirt, gray jogging pants with a red stripe, white tennis shoes and a Vietnam Veteran’s baseball cap.
Police say that the investigation is ongoing.
