2 Fulton men arrested in sexual assault of girl, 14

KINGDOM CITY, Mo. (AP) _ Authorities have arrested two Fulton men accused of taking a 14-year-old girl to a hotel, giving her drugs and alcohol and sexually assaulting her.

The Columbia Daily Tribune reports that a 26-year-old man and a 42-year-old man were arrested Sunday in Kingdom City. Callaway County Sgt. Curtis Hall said in a news release that investigators executed a search warrant at the hotel and found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

The suspects face several charges, including second-degree statutory rape and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child. Both men are being held at the Callaway County Jail on $50,000 cash-only bonds.

The victim is now in the custody of the Missouri Children’s Division.

An investigation is ongoing.
