ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Historic Missouri Roadsides is a travel guide to small town Missouri published in May 2015. The book guides you on several tours of Missouri on mostly two-lane roads and highways that start from near Kansas City and St. Louis. The book is a great resource for anyone looking for unique road trips, especially those in Missouri or southwestern Illinois.

Author Bill Hart is the director of  the Missouri Alliance for Historic Preservation. His organization’s work of looking for the state’s Places in Peril, which calls attention to threatened historic resources, led him to explore the many two-lane highways in the Show-Me State.
