ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Police are looking for a missing mom and her 1-year-old boy in north St. Louis County. An AMBER alert has been issued in hopes to have the public's help to find them.
Two Hispanic men allegedly took Diana Berrios-Pimentel, 23 and Dyland Rosa, 1, from a home in the 10000 block of Cloverdale drive at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. This is near the intersection of Chambers and Halls Ferry roads.
Police say that Diana and Dyland both lived with her boyfriend in Texas last month. A domestic situation caused the two to move in with a cousin in St. Louis.
Diana's cousin tells police that she got a text message at around noon on Thursday. Diana told her that two Hispanic men were circling the area near the home on Cloverdale.
A short time later the cousin received another text message from Diana's phone. It said that Diana and the child were safe, but they would not be released until certain demands were met. It is not clear what those demands are.
Police believe the men are driving a tan Honda Accord with Georgia license plates. The suspects are two Hispanic men, one wearing a white fishing hat.
Anyone seeing the victim, suspect, or vehicle or anyone having any information related to the abduction should immediately dial 911 or call the St Louis County Police Department at 636-529-8210.
