Funeral home wants you to name its new grief therapy dog

LEBANON, MO (KTVI) – A funeral home in St. Charles County, Missouri has launched a contest asking the public to name its newest, four-legged staff member.

Baue Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery is welcoming an eight-week-old Golden Doodle puppy as a grief therapy dog on November 28. The dog will be available to provide comfort for families at visitation and funeral services, and during counseling sessions as well.

Submissions will be accepted at online at Baue.com until Thursday, November 26, just before midnight.

The dog’s name will be announced Tuesday, December 1. The person who suggested the winning name will receive a $100 Amazon gift card and get the opportunity to meet the Golden Doodle puppy in person.
