SUNSET HILLS, MO (KTVI) - Friends and family are holding a vigil to mark six months since the disappearance of a Sunset Hills woman.  Her neighbors say they want to keep Linda McLaughlin’s name and face in the news. It was six months ago Tuesday that she was reported missing. Friends and family are gathering in her neighborhood for a vigil tonight.

Yellow yard signs have been placed throughout the neighborhood, calling on anyone with information to come forward and contact CrimeStoppers or the St. Louis County Police. 57-year-old Linda McLaughlin was last seen at a restaurant in the Kirkwood area.  She and her husband John had been going through a divorce at the time. Court documents indicate it had been a stormy separation. Her car was found in South St. Louis city on June 4th. Dozens of officers from St. Louis County and Franklin County conducted two searches at the McLaughlin family farm near Gerald, Missouri which includes two ponds. Family members and friends are hoping and praying they will get answers soon about what happened to her.

At the time Linda McLaughlin disappeared, St. Louis County Police said they believed she may have been a victim of a crime. Today investigators say there is nothing new in the search for her in Sunset Hills.
