ST. CHARLES, MO – Hundreds of roads across Missouri were closed due to extensive flooding on December 30, as a state of emergency was declared.

Flooding on the Meramec River had forced the closure of Interstates 44 and 51 by the early hours of December 31, the National Weather Service in St Louis reported.

The Facebook community Historic St. Charles Missouri has been sharing drone footage of the floods, crediting some of videos to the Ameristar Casino.  It shows before and after flooding video of Frontier Park.
