Fox 2 Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne had an interesting conversation with Tigers football radio broadcaster Howard Richards recently. Richards has lived quite an exciting life. Growing up in St. Louis, he played football well enough at the old Southwest High School to earn a scholarship to the University of Missouri. His football success in college led to being a first round draft pick of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. After a successful career in pro football, Richards wanted more excitement in his life, the C-I-A. Richards spent 13 years with the government agency and then decided it was time to come home again. He has been in the Tigers football broadcast booth for the last five seasons. He now works for the university as a liaison between St. Louis businesses, prospective students and the University of Missouri. Enjoy his story.
