L.A. fans celebrate return of the Rams; hashtag #goingbacktocali trending

LOS ANGELES, CA (KTVI)- As Rams fans in St. Louis wake up to the harsh reality they've lost their team, fans in Los Angeles are celebrating their return. The Rams played in Los Angeles for 49-years, from 1946-1994. The league allowed the Rams to move from Cleveland to Los Angeles on January 12, 1946, 70 years to the day of the announcement.

With all of the excitement, the hashtag #goingbacktocali is trending.

Rapper LL Cool J released the song in 1988. He describes the experience of moving to California. 'Going Back to Cali' peaked on the Billboard Hot 100, and went certified gold in 1991.
