Shriners to donate thousands of teddy bears to firefighters

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- This time every year we seem to see many house fires. Just last week, St. Louis city firefighters rescued two little boys trapped in a fire. This happens to be Burn Prevention Week.

Pet Smart provided the funds to buy for the Shriners to buy plush stuffed animals to give to kids across the metro area.

Mike Underwood with the Professional Firefighters of Eastern Missouri and Dennis Burkholder with the Shriners joined us on FOX 2 News in the Morning to explain.
