McDonald’s scholarship program open to all STL high school students

ST. LOUIS, MO. (KTVI)- The application process for the McDonald's Academic Excellence Awards Scholarship is currently open to all Greater St. Louis-area high school seniors. The application deadline is Mar. 21 and requires forms to be filled out.

Kim sat down with Jimmy Williams from McDonald's to get the word out about the upcoming scholarship.

The McDonald’s Academic Excellence Award Scholarship is a one-time, $3,000 scholarship that is awarded to college-bound St. Louis and Metro East high school seniors.

To qualify, high school seniors must complete the application package, online. This package consists of an application and recommendations from two teachers, or one  teacher and one counselor/principal, community service leader who are familiar with the student’s academic performance and involvement in school and community service.
