O’Fallon police investigate armed robbery at fast food restaurant
O’FALLON, IL (KTVI) – An armed robbery suspect may have tried to disguise his identity, but investigators with the O’Fallon Police Department hope the public will recognize this individual and help police him to justice.
According to Captain Mark Berry, a police spokesman, the robbery happened just after 6 a.m. at the Hardee’s Restaurant in the 100 block of East Hwy 50.
The suspect was described as an African-American man, standing approximately 5’8” and weighing about 150 pounds with a small build, and with a distinct mole under his left eye. He was wearing a blue bandana over his face and an inside-out, grey University of Illinois hoodie sweatshirt.
Police did not indicate which weapon was used in the robbery. No one was injured.
