Internet enabled speakers lead police to suspect

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - Internet enabled speakers lead to the arrest of a theft suspect.

Police say Markest Burnett an employee at The Sound Room in Chesterfield was caught on surveillance video stealing a Sonos speaker from the store. Investigators discovered that speaker along five others were all accessing the internet from Burnett's home.

Burnett's now charged with felony theft of property worth nearly $1,700.
