Police are searching for a former KU football player from Potosi, MO

POTOSI, Mo. — The Missouri State Highway Patrol is searching for a former Kansas Jayhawks football player who was reported missing on Monday. Brandon Kyle Bourbon , 24, was last seen on April 2.

Bourbon is from Potosi, Mo., a town about an hour and a half south of St. Louis. He played football for KU until 2014 before transferring to Washburn to finish his career. He was named to Academic All-Big 12 First Team in 2013.

Oakland Raiders linebacker Ben Heeney who also played for KU, tweeted out this message of concern for Bourbon:
