Former St. Louis police officer sentenced to probation after driving while intoxicated

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – A former St. Louis police officer has been sentenced to probation for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident. Jason Flanery will serve probation and be required to attend a drug and alcohol treatment program.

Prosecutors say Flanery drove his police car while drunk and high on cocaine. They say he hit a parked car on Jamison and then went home.

Officers found him there and got a warrant to test his blood. Flanery also paid for the damage to the police car and the civilian car.
