ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- Georgios Kastanias is the executive chef and sales executive for a local family owned food distribution group, Moore Food. He is also the specialist for the Greek and Mediterranean products of the company. This week, he is joined by Audra Angelique, Co-Owner and Head Chef of A², The GFCF Cafe & Restaurant in Downtown St. Louis.

Fresh Cabbage Salad (Serves: 1)

(Approximate all amounts)
- 1/2 Cup Spiraled Carrots
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Red Cabbage
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Green or Napa Cabbage
- (1/8 Cup) 1 thin slice of onion round - Thinly cut red onion
- 2 tsp White Balsamic Vinegar
- 5 tsp Grape seed oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 sea salt
Mix all ingredients into a bowl and hand toss until all fresh vegetables are covered evenly by seasonings.
Do you need more salt? Put a pinch in!
Would you enjoy more pepper? Throw a dash more of pepper in and keep tasting until it is seasoned exactly to your liking.
