ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - St. Louis is buzzing about Blues Sunday tonight as fans geared-up for game 1 of the St. Louis Blues vs. San Jose Sharks in the Western Conference Finals.

Fans are snatching up the Moooooose playoff beads to benefit Girls on The Run.  The beads are named for goalie Brian Elliott whose nickname is Moose; anything Blues right now is a hot item.  The Blues came into being in 1967.  They've never won a Stanley cup.  The last time they made it this far was 15 years ago; 2001.  Before that, it was another 15 years in 1986.

With the in the conference finals, the Blues financial health should improve.  By making it this far into the playoffs, the Blues have reportedly passed the break-even point for the first time since the tremendously popular team chairman, Tom Stillman, and his ownership group, took over.
