FOX2 aids expectant mother stuck in Mercy Hospital bomb scare traffic backup

CREVE COEUR, MO (KTVI) – Monday’s suspicious package found at Mercy Hospital closed I- 270 from Ladue Road to I-64 for about 3 hours.  We talked drivers stuck in the backup, and in the heat.

One driver was Forcia Hall from north St. Louis County.

Ms. Hall is pregnant and was going into labor.

FOX2 ‘s Andy Banker talk to Ms. Hall and told her that the backup was due to a suspicious package found at Mercy Hospital.  She had already been stuck in traffic for 2 hours.

Andy flagged down a motorist assist worker, who got the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Creve Coeur Fire Department to help get Forcia Hall to Mercy Hospital for her doctor’s appointment.

Ms. Hall made her appointment with her doctor and was diagnosed with an infection  that gave her false labor pains.

She planning to have a C-section in 10 days.
