ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -  Two weeks ago professional surfer Bethany Hamilton  finished a career best in the World Surfing  League Competition.

Bethany became an inspiration to millions when at age thirteen, she lost her left arm to a 14-foot tiger shark, one month later she returned to the water and within two years won her first national title.
