ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - St. Louis police are dealing with another disturbing crime overnight in the Central West End. A person was robbed at gunpoint and it’s not the first time that has happened recently.

This latest crime happened at North Euclid and McPherson about 1:50 a.m. Police said the victim, an adult woman, was outside on the street when a man confronted her armed with a gun.

The suspect took money from the woman, but she was not harmed.

St. Louis police were at the scene searching for clues overnight, as well as any surveillance cameras that may be in the area.

This incident happened about a block away from where a man was robbed at gunpoint just over a week ago. That occurred at North Euclid and Westminster Place.

In that case, a man was walking alone on North Euclid around 12:45 a.m. when he was confronted by a man with a gun. Cash was stolen from that victim as well, but he was not hurt.

And earlier this month, 28-year-Tyrell Thompson was shot and killed near Olive and Walton while trying to protect his friend during another robbery attempt.

Nobody is in custody in any of the aforementioned cases. Police have not indicated if any of the cases are connected.
