Reproductive rights protesters march outside Central West End pregancy crisis center

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Reproductive rights protesters marched outside a “crisis pregnancy center” in the Central West End Wednesday morning. It was a kick-off event for the group called Show-Me Accountability.

Show-Me Accountability says that Thrive on Lindell is one of 48 clinics that supported by Missouri taxpayers. The group claims the clinics have no oversight.

A statement on the group’s website says in part,”Missourians deserve access to healthcare and to live in communities free of violence and oppression. We demand accountability and that lawmakers pledge to prioritize the real-life issues threatening the lives of Missourians, such as lack of access to healthcare, gun violence, systemic racism and oppression!”

“Thrive St. Louis” is listed is a 501c3 Charitable organization. The income for the center is listed at over 2 million dollars. Missouri supports a tax credit for pregnancy resource centers.
