A teenager found more than $2,200 blowing around the streets in north St. Louis County on a street off St. Charles Rock Road in St. John.

Home improvement contractor Ray Jennings, also of St. Ann, lost the money after he left his wallet on top of his car. He had forgotten he had put it there.

Jackson Lamb, 19, gathered all of the cash, credit cards, IDs, and the wallet, and brought them to the St. John Police Department.

Police contacted Jennings within 20 minutes. He got his money back.

Jennings has offered Lamb, a recent graduate of Pattonville High School, a job with his contracting company as a reward. Lamb has accepted.
