(FOX) - Authorities say a former teacher in Texas is facing sexual assault charges, allegedly impregnating a 15-year-old who used to be his student.
Charges were filed against Cornelius Smith last month when authorities discovered the 26-year-old had a sexual relationship with his former student.
Jail booking records show that Smith turned himself in at the Tarrant County Jail on June 22nd, and was released on a $75,000 bond.
Smith had been a teacher and coach at Euless Junior High when he began his relationship with the teen.
