ST. LOUIS (KTVI) - A carjacking turns deadly for a family as they watched their loved one gunned down in the process. Six years later, those gunmen are at large. There's up to a $5,000 reward if your anonymous tips lead police to the murderer.

Sherrell Austin was murdered in front of her family during a carjacking. It happened at 23rd and Hebert back on July 8, 2010.

Sherrell’s sister, Regina, was in the car with her. Regina said the carjackers cut them off and pulled the two of them out of the car. Regina then watched as one of the carjackers shot her sister.

Regina has partnered with CrimeStoppers to encourage people to call in any tips that could help solve this case.

"Someone knows who did this and I just want somebody to come forward and step up and be the better person so that our family can get the closure that we deserve," Regina said.
